Enriched Air Diver

Enriched Air Diver is absolutely one of our most popular specialties. The

benefit to diving enriched air is the ability to expand your bottom time. You’ll learn how to plan and make enriched air dives so you can make the most of your local or vacation diving experiences.

HOW DO I BECOME A MASTER SCUBA DIVER?

After Open Water, your next step is Advanced Open Water, then Rescue Diver, and 5 specialty certifications. You may earn some specialties right after Open Water, or get a taste of different activities in diving through Advanced Open Water. Either way, each dive in Advanced counts toward its respective specialty, and the first dive of a specialty can count towards Advanced. You’ll be diving, having fun, and working your way up. Once you have the above and 50 logged dives, you will be awarded the prestigious Master Scuba Diver card.

Specialty Certifications

There is a specialty for just about every interest in diving. SportsCo’s instructors offer 20 different specialties, but certain ones remain the most requested year after year:

Peak Buoyancy
One of the most valuable courses, will fine tune your diving skills. Gliding effortlessly becomes easy after this class.

Digital Photographer
If you want to shoot successful photographs underwater, ones that you proud to display, then this is the course for you. Our professional photography instructor will show you how to get the best photos with your camera system. A camera and a dive trip are an investment, and you want to bring home
beautiful pictures. Photography is one of the most

If you want to live the diving lifestyle, explore places you’ve only dreamed of, and experience a magical world, then becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver is your ticket to adventure. The holders of the Master Scuba Diver certification represent an elite group who have special training and experience in a variety of diving environments. But the most enduring quality of these divers is they are the ones who have the most fun and rewarding adventures. Earning the rating is more fun than you can imagine because you can explore just about any avenue of diving that interests you! Each level of instruction features a certification rating and contributes to the final Master Scuba Diver certification.

Underwater Navigator

You learned the basic use of a compass in your open water course, but now you can discover navigational techniques

that will enhance your diving ability. Navigator is challenging, fun, and will enhance your comfort and confidence level.

Night Diver

Magical, mystical, enticing, exciting, that’s night diving! When the sun goes down the fun begins. Diving after dark brings a host of new and different critters, and some the underwater realm’s most unique creatures only come out at night.

Research Diver

Research diver is the course that provides you with future diving experiences! You’ll have the opportunity to survey an area and then build an artificial fish habitat to attract new visitors to the area. Get creative in this class with your own design and see what happens!
